Introducing our new Charity 💙💛

Introducing our new Charity 💙💛 - Dust & Dance

In 2019, we were supporting a charity called the 'Hollie Gazzard Trust'. As well as creating the beautiful HOLLIE glitter, we also went along to a few events spreading awareness of HGT and also selling our glitter mix. A final donation was then made to HGT.

This year we are thrilled to announce our new Charity... Wouldn't Change A Thing 💙💛

It all started with a little video created for World Down Syndrome Day 2018 that took social media by storm with the likes of James Corden and other celebrities sharing online. The video was called '50 Mums | 50 Kids | 1 Extra Chromosome'. It became one of the most popular not-for-profit videos of all time racking up 450 million views to date and popularising the hashtag #wouldntchangeathing.

It made such a positive impact on modernising mainstream perceptions of Down's syndrome, that a group of people involved decided to set up WCAT (Wouldn't Change A Thing) to continue the mission 💙💛

It has now grown to include a multi-skilled, passionate group of people from all over the world. They are trying to achieve a world where negative and outdated perceptions on Down's syndrome are a thing of the past and they do this by creating and promoting projects designed to directly challenge these outdated perceptions. Their projects are devised to be; uplifting, emotive and positive whilst offering insights into how enjoyable life is for all those associated with the condition.

WCAT's intent is to leave those who view their work feeling challenged and changed making them more willing to accept those with Down's syndrome and to consider them as valid members of society, as schoolmates, work colleagues and as employees.

We obviously couldn't help ourselves and have launched a brand new Charity glitter mix! 👇🏻 Don't forget - 50 pence of every pot sold will go to the Wouldn't Change A Thing Charity.
